The Rugby Championship is back to its usual number of four teams now that South Arica has re-entered the post-Covid fray. Australia, New Zealand and Argentina will join them to play out what is arguably the toughest annual international rugby tournament on the planet. All Blacks vs Pumas
There is a new player in town when it comes to watching The Rugby Championship in Australia. Here we’re going to look at what this means for viewers and how you can stream games for free.
World Champions South Africa may have had little rugby after their triumph in Tokyo, but they are fresh off the back of a Lions series win in Cape Town, meaning they are the best prepared out of all four teams going into The Rugby Championship. They will be eager to continue their rivalries with New Zealand and Australia after missing last year’s tournament and prove their worth in the competition.
New Zealand remain favourites to win the Rugby Championship after their players’ performances during Super Rugby, but a resurgent Wallabies side should never be ruled out. Dave Rennie’s men may have already lost the Bledisloe Cup, but there is still everything to play for in the Rugby Championship.
When: 11th September – 18th September
Where: Eden Park , Auckland , New Zealand
Every game from the Rugby Championship 2021 will be broadcast live and exclusive on Nine and the Stan Sport sports streaming service. Stan’s venture into International and Domestic Rugby is also backed up by a stellar commentary team that will appease both new and seasoned fans of the game. Roz Kelly and Nick McArdle will share presenting duties, with Sean Maloney and Andrew Swain calling the games. They will be assisted every week by former players including Tim Horan, Morgan Turinui, Drew Mitchell and All-Black legend Andrew Mehrtens.
